Planet La Releases New Album From Artist Native June And Executive Producer Tony Maserati
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Planet LA Records) Planet LA Records has released the album Ocean to Sunset from recording artist Native June and executive producer and multiple-GRAMMY
winner Tony Maserati. The public launch event took place at the Viper Room in Hollywood on September 23, 2011 followed by an industry event at the Gibson Guitar Showroom in Beverly Hills on September 29, 2011. Native June has kicked off a national tour to promote the new album which will be distributed digitally and in retail outlets nationwide in collaboration with the Independent Distribution Collective (IDC).

Ocean to Sunset is a six-song EP album mixed and produced by Tony Maserati with support on mixing and production from GRAMMY-nominated producer Joshua Cartier Cutsinger and mastered by Gavin Lurssen. Native Junes songs are high energy, upbeat and with a twist of Midwest nostalgia including the first single Saturday Night. In a review of the album by Earbits radio blog, editor Will Engle remarks that Native Junes best quality is that they play loud alternative-rock that doesnt sacrifice its power and heart to appeal to the current watered-down popular indie scene.

Native June has launched a national tour to promote the album which started in the hometown of lead singer Gabe Watson in Greensburg, Indiana on October 1, 2011 and continues at venues and colleges in Chicago, Illinois; Cincinnati, Ohio; Louisville, Kentucky and other venues, winding up in New York City at the Gibson Guitar Showroom on November 4, 2011.

Native June is a four-piece indie rock band whose members include Gabe Watson from Southern Indiana; Tristan Hendy from Detroit, Michigan and the UK; Martial Chaput from Southern France and Jake DeSouza from Los Angeles. The band signed with Planet LA Records in October 2010, and is featured by brand partners including Gibson Guitar, Original Penguin clothing, iBand.me, Music Box Film/TV library and by Rev7 gum in a year-long promotional campaign at major festivals, tour dates and online webisodes throughout 2012.
