Country-Rocker John Maison Will Play Camp Casey Fest Alongside Fellow Michigander Josh Gracin
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ PLA Media) Michigan native and country-rock singing sensation John Maison will be performing at Camp Casey Fest in downtown Ferndale, MI on Saturday, October 15. The singer-songwriter will join an all-star line-up to benefit Camp Casey, a horseback riding program for kids with cancer.

Headlining the charity event is fellow Michigan native Josh Gracin. Camp Casey Fest will also feature a chili cook-off, arts and crafts vendors, lots of grub from local restaurants and a big screen television broadcasting the University of Michigan vs. Michigan State football game.

"It's going to be a lot of fun for a great cause. I'm excited to be back in Michigan and honored to be performing alongside these other great musicians for Camp Casey," says John.

Details on the performance:
Location: East Nine Mile at Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, Michigan
Tickets: $10 if purchased in advance ($15 at the door after 5pm). Kids 10 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult and 100% of ticket sales benefit Camp Casey. To purchase ticket, visit www.camp-casey.org/fundraising.

Time: The festival kicks off at 11am on Saturday, October 15
As a songwriter and performer, John sticks to what he knows, always relating lyrics to his life and his experiences. "If you listen to enough of my music, you can tell what type of life I lead," says John. With the help of growing radio play on several Michigan radio stations, along with national exposure from GAC television, John is developing a large following. But there is more to this guy than just the music. This smart-cookie graduated with a degree in Finance from Michigan State University and also received his MBA from Walsh College. Throughout college, John would write and store all of his songs into a Coca-Cola piggy bank and now, it looks like all that "saving up" has paid off!
