Says Taborah, "I took time off for family, and now I am ready to 'pump it up' on the dance floor. It would have been easy for me to go back to Europe again, but the United States is my home; yet I have never released a record here; who better to partner up with than Johnny Rocks, who is synonymous with American Dance history. To be in this business for twenty years with a reputation for keeping the beats hot, fresh and exciting... What a thrill!"
When asked why she thinks her song is getting such positive feedback even before its official release or even being picked up by a domestic label, Taborah, with her trademark smile from ear to ear says, "it's a song that people can relate to. It's a real 'rise up and be counted' song and it's hitting home with people who believe in taking control of their lives.
"I AM (the rising)" is exactly what it implies and means many things to many different people. I AM delighted that people feel closeness to the song and can relate to it. Johnny Rocks brought my lyrics alive with his incredible beats. "I AM (The Rising)," is a song about 'making your own choices' and 'being free to be.' It's about the day when you realize that you can be in control and free to be who you are and that it is your right to do so... realizing that...I AM (period)."
When not writing or in the studio, Taborah, who has become an antique expert and interior designer during her musical hiatus, is working on a degree in Interior Design in Ohio; surely her digs on the road will be suitably exquisite and fashionably trendy! Taborah, recently performed during the Annual Dance Winter Music Conference Week in Miami to the delight of Blackwood fans, which wanted an advance listen to her new material. "I AM (The Rising)" was recorded in the United States with Joe Carrano for Welcome Productions adding his programming and engineering talents. Although Taborah will return to Europe for performances, she says she is looking forward to performing this summer in all of the fun party places right here in the USA.

"'Think alternative and rock-style promotions' emphasizing tour, tour and more touring at all of the fun spots internationally, with interesting co-op partnerships along the way. Taborah is a New York girl, so our strategies will include the dynamic style and flair of her personality."
