Brook's album 'The Great Blues Sea' goes digital

NEW YORK (Chimpkabob Website) - Take equal parts blues rhythms and pagan revival and shake, shake,shake. With his gritty vocals and wide ranging guitar work, Brook plays genres from ragtime to slow-beat, from jazzy ballads to whining slide guitar driven blues.

Brook has worked with Bo Diddley and his BoKay Production Company, Chuck Berry, "The Reverend" Steve Weist, and Bruce Langhorn, among others. He has also accompanied jazz performers Bill Watrous, Bobbie Shew, and Al Shachman. He co-led the African Jazz Ensemble with Motown percussionist Renaldo Jackson. He took Mimi Fox's vacated seat in the Joyce Baker Group, accompanying Opie Bellas for 3 years.
