New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Pale Blue Entertainment) LA-based rock band Tom Kurlander & PaleBlueSound are currently on the Sugar Burn Sessions Tour in support of Tom's new release, Sugar Burn Sessions, an album filled with exemplary musicianship and soaring guitar solos.
The singer-songwriter (aka "TK") is known for his thoughtful, sometimes piercing lyrics, tied to strong melodies and catchy choruses. The music is explosive at times, combining a driving arena rock sound with resonant storytelling and dynamic arrangements; music once described as "a cross between Dylan and The Rolling Stones."
The band features award-winning guitarist Sean Spicer on lead guitar, Quinton Zigler on keys/hammond organ, TO on bass,
David Harris on drums and TK out front on vocals and guitar.
Mr. Kurlander's musical approach has clearly been influenced by the great rock bands and singer-songwriters who've paved rock history, combining heartfelt and genuine lyrics, reminiscent of
Neil Young and John Lennon, with an explosive rock sound evoking echoes of The Who, U2 and Bruce Springsteen.
Tom Kurlander & PaleBlueSound are slated to play the main stage at the RootStock Springfest
Music Festival in Brick, NJ on April 27th, the Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA on April 30th and the Grog Shop in Cleveland, OH on May 2nd. Additional tour dates and ticket information are available at www.paleblueentertainment.com
Sugar Burn Sessions is available on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, Spotify and other outlets. The album marks the sophomore effort by the musician originally from New York City who's debut album, entitled Work, is also available on iTunes.
