BOSTON, MA. (Retrospect Records) - In what promises to be a show to remember, Retrospect Records is hosting a July 10th release party with performances at the SKYBAR in Somerville, MA. Performing on the bill with OK PANIC will be original bands SED and STRING THEORY and some special guests will be making surprise visits. The new Retrospect release of "Deafinition" will also be available for purchase. Drumming for the band at this kick-off event will be former band SUPERZERO's drummer Robbie Dempsey. OK Panic drummer Pete Abdou is currently on tour with the Tiffany Shea Band. OK Panic founders Mark Cherone and Stephen Powell, also formerly of SUPERZERO tell readers, "This is a great chance for a Superzero reunion. It wasn't planned to happen, but fate is on our side." Stepping up to the plate for his debut performance with the band is guitarist Dave Caramello. We're told that his undeniably shining talents on guitar and backing vocals made him the right choice for the band. People who aren't familiar with OK Panic may remember the founding duo in their first recording project together titled FLESH. Their debut CD with Flesh sold in national and international markets as the band first toured the U.S. and then Japan. Of late, their recorded works have been heard on ABC's Monday Night Football and across the internet on specialty internet radio broadcasts. Retrospect Records is proud to release this ten song CD to listeners of rock and roll across the globe. For those who cannot make the planned July 10th event, the CD may be purchased on or after July 10th from the Retrospect Records website at www.RetrospectRecords.com. The website currently features samples of the CD available for download.
