New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Lion in The Mane official website) After several years of writing, recording and touring with bands from Florida, Jon Masters (Believe You Me, Woodale, Made for the Silver Screen) sought new opportunities and a change of scenery. Determined, he left the warm breezy palms of the Sunshine State for the vibrant unpredictable concrete jungle of New York City.

Upon Jon's arrival he responded to an advertisement for a lead singer posted by New York native bassist Henry D' Allacco (Last Dying Word). After nailing the audition Jon discovered that additional band members were needed. Jon then convinced fellow musician/guitarist Dmitry Libman (Believe You Me, Winter Park, Hillside) to make the move to New York where they, for the past few years, continue to work day jobs while relentlessly writing and recording each night at their NYC loft studio. Other roster changes (Drummer Jason Juliette's departure and the untimely loss of guitarist Joe Calvert) led Jon to contact Florida based drummer extraordinaire Johnny Coryn (Radio Reset) to drop everything and move to the Big Apple.

Originally known as "The Atlas", "Lion in The Mane" brilliantly executed the debut of the band's incredible wall of sound to a sizeable passionate audience at The Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York on December 14, 2010. Subsequent stellar performances at Arlene's Grocery-NYC, The Bitter End-NYC and the Hard Rock-Boston has expanded their fanbase in the Northeast. Word of the band is starting to spread to radio (WCYY-Portland, Maine and WBCR-Brooklyn, New York) as well as major and independent record labels. In addition, LITM had the privilege of playing 2 shows at CMJ 2011 Music Marathon NYC, followed by a January 2012 residency at Arlene's Grocery, which could potentially land the band a deal, and propel them to fame.

The harsh sincerity of the lyrics and vocals, spontaneous yet powerful guitar melodies, a solid, driving, and supportive bass along with the charismatic and flashy chops that roar from the drums put "Lion in The Mane" on the "short list" as they have established themselves as one of today's most promising new bands. With that promise, the band hit NYC's PIE Studios with their producer William Wittman in May 2011 and released "The Way We're Wired" on August 6, 2011.

Prepare to experience the enormous roar of "Lion in The Mane".
