Veteran Punk Rockers Donots Release Ninth Album "Wake The Dogs" On OK!Good Records
Teaneck, NJ (Top40 Charts/ Main Street PR) New music label startup OK!Good Records is proud to announce the US release of "Wake The Dogs," the 9th studio album from the veteran German punk band, Donots. The new album, which debuted at # 6 on the Top Album Sales Chart in Germany, will be released in the US on iTunes, Amazon and other major retailers on Tuesday, July 3rd. However, eager fans don't have to wait for the official street date to hear the album. OK!Good Records has already pre-released the album on their website (https://www.okgoodrecords.com) where it can be streamed for free and purchased as a digital download.

The US version of "Wake The Dogs" will be comprised of a total of 16 new songs from the Donots, including 2 exclusive bonus tracks that were absent from the original German release. Two tracks from the album, "So Long" and "Going Through The Motions," also feature the highly influential English folk/punk singer-songwriter Frank Turner on vocals. With "Wake The Dogs," fans of the Donots can expect the same kind of high-energy, catchy, punk-driven rock anthems for which the band is so well known and has been delivering consistently for over 20 years.

Donots are Ingo Donot, Guido Donot, J.D. Donot, Eike Donot and Alex Donot. Founded in 1993, the band has made a name for themselves as one of the top punk bands not only in Germany, but throughout Europe. Well-respected in the international punk community, Donots were invited by Green Day to play with them on all German dates of the Green Day Tour 2010. They have also shared stages with the likes of Blink 182, The Hives, Sum 41, Iggy Pop, NoFX, The Offspring, Weezer, Linkin Park, Anti-Flag, Jimmy Eat World, The Cure, and many others.

Donots have seen their fair share of success in Germany with their last 4 albums peaking on the charts in the top 25. Not to be content with a strong fan base at home, Donots have been active in spreading their punk prowess to other parts of the world. In the late 2000s, Donots had their music placed into several popular video game sound tracks released in the US and Canada, including MVP Baseball 2005, Burnout 3 and Need For Speed: Underground Rivals. In 2010, Donots saw their first full album release in the US with "The Long Way Home," put out on OK!Good Records. Now in 2012, Donots present their second offering to the American public with "Wake The Dogs."
