New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Marondel Productions) Up and coming rockers Warmachine are set to create a full-length album with legendary multi-platinum producer, Beau Hill.
This is a very exciting time for the band as the are also embarking on their 2012 North
America tour. This homegrown band has character and talent.
Warmachine consists of 4 seriously talented artists. The bands founder, lead vocalist and lead guitarist is lifetime musician, Joe Di Taranto. Playing guitar at 8, and singing at 12, this Toronto native provides most of the songwriting for the group but many songs involve a collaborative effort. His biggest influences are life experience, and the bands Rush and Queen.
Fellow Toronto native, and Rush fan, Johnny Salerno is guitarist and backup vocalist for the band. Making the difficult choice between guitar and drums at the young age of 8, Johnny took up the guitar and cites Rush as well as country music as some of his musical influences.
The veteran bass player Alberto Campuzano hails from Caracas, Venezuela. Despite starting his musical career much later than his bandmates,at 16, Campuzano has played for more than a few other musical projects such as Annihilator, Plan C, Big Fat Zero, and The Red Peppers.
The versatile backbone of the band is drummer Darren Smith who hails from Nova Scotia, Canada. Drumming since 10, Darren has over a decade of experience as the founding member of Harem Sacrem and also brings vocalist and gutarist talents to the band.
