New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Frank Palangi Official Website) Recording solo artist Frank Palangi is more determined than ever hitting the local NY market for making new fans and expanding his sound in live concert venues. In April Frank opened for rock band TRAPT and Candlelight Red, In May, the rock band HURT, now on June 22nd at Upstate Music Hall (Northern Lights) in Clifton Park, NY opening for rock band FUEL.

He has traveled to Nashville, TN and back recording his new single "I AM READY".

"It's a kick ass rock track with feeling ,raw ambition, and not a cookie cutter formula. Comparable to current mainstream rock, it's being recorded like the latest Foo Fighters album with that old school feel that gives it that warmth and like your right in the room, listening to the whole band." Frank executive produced the single as well and proves to be a statement in his career.

He has received radio air play/interviews on FM/internet stations, and newspaper/online article write-ups and currently on the demand hitting up more and more. Also licensing through Ourstage.com (an MTV Partner website) and more for placements of his music.

Frank has done local talent contests and placed in the top 20 from Capital Region Has Talent (2009) to local fair contests. Performed on local TV8 network for Fundraisers. Opened for artists that include FUEL, HURT, TRAPT, Candlelight Red, Prospect Hill, Sludge Factory (Alice in Chains Tribute), Deluka, Jesse Malin (Former D-Generation singer), Black Mountain Symphony, Silversyde, Prospect Hill. Done Auditions for The Voice, America's Got Talent, "I Want be a ROCKER" 2011 VH1 style tv show, Showcase Live Venue talent scout, Battle of the Bands with local clubs and radio stations (Edge Radio.info placing 2nd) and Younow.com website songwriter contests placing in the finals. Has had his own local headlining shows, received 2011/2012 Best Acoustic solo or duo act and solo artist in the Region by the Glens Falls Post Star newspaper, Glens Falls Chronicle paper/Q103 Albany radio station/Fox23 News do interviews and was nominated into a chance to play at the 2012 Grammy awards and landed in the top 12 for final top trending artists. (2012 Boost Radio station Artist of the Year nomination as well for my played/requested).
