New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Girlie Action Media & Marketing) French born and Berlin-based Steve Strip releases the first track "Astral Projection" featuring Puro Instinct on June 25 via Boysnoize Recordsfrom his upcoming debut album
Micro Mega (out July 16). The KiNK Instrumental version of "Astral Projection" premiered exclusively this week on Earmilk calling it "the perfect intersection of pop meets disco."

For the first single, Strip Steve teamed up with the lucid and wild-eyed dream-pop band Puro Instinct, young protégées of living legend Ariel Pink, straight out of sunny So-Cal. Breaking away from his more dance floor like focused tunes "Stomp/Mother Circuit" (BNR078), Strip Steve takes us on a trip, painting lingering and psychedelic-noir disco pop.
"Astral Projection" goes more to the root and encapsulates musical influences from The Beach Boys, Chic, and modern disco like Amplified Orchestra, highlighting how versatile and multi-faceted Strip Steve's musical approaching can be. The flirty ness with fragile lucency, and the infantile embracement of the simple and still undiscovered pop formula which leaves the song to grow and breathe on its own.
On July 16, Strip Steve releases his first full-length debut album
Micro Mega worldwide via Boysnoize Records. While the common pattern throughMicro Mega is clearly his own sense of rhythm and melody, his distinctive rich, sweet and mellow backbone, we discover a whole new variety of styles and colors that might have stayed unsuspected from him so far, showing us deeper into the corners of his creative mind.
