NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks sold more than 434,000 copies of his first solo effort, The Hunger for More, to grab the top spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

Banks, who appeared on labelmate 50 Cent's 2003 Get Rich or Die Tryin,' also entered the top tier of the Billboard 100 singles chart at No. 10 this week with the debut track On Fire, Billboard reported Wednesday.

Hunger replaces last week's top album, Jadakiss' Kiss of Death, which fell to No. 4 with a 50 percent decrease in sales to 122,000 copies.

Usher's Confessions saw a 1 percent dip in sales to 148,000 copies to keep it at No. 2 for the fourth consecutive week.

Brandy's fourth Atlantic studio record, Afrodisiac, debuted at No. 3, with rapper Lil' Wayne's fourth studio album, Tha Carter, opening at No. 5.
