LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Samsung UK) The latest in Samsung's #Breakfree series sees indie hip-hop upstarts Man Like Me working with their mentor, Mike Skinner (The Streets) to break into the mainstream. The film captures the act just on the cusp of stardom as they flip between time on stage and their daily grind.
#Breakfree is the spirit of doing something different, the attitude to escape the everyday. It's the vast abandon of a sudden round-the-world trip but also the simple wander through backstreets you've never explored before.
As a campaign, #Breakfree celebrates the creative capabilities of Samsung's Galaxy Note handset through a series of three short films showcasing creativity breaking free from convention. Samsung has created the film series to showcase the creative potential of the Galaxy Note smartphone and S-Pen.
The previous film in the #Breakfree series featured guerrilla knitwear artist Olek travelling across the UK in a "knitted taxi" while covering iconic British sites, such as Antony Gormley's Iron Men, in brightly coloured knitwear.
The third film in the series will feature a #breakfree stunt, a moment of mad energy, and will be released in coming weeks.
All three films are housed on a bespoke YouTube Page. The films are supported by a Twitter competition to win a Samsung Galaxy Note. Viewers are encouraged to
Tweet their own #breakfree moments, something that breaks free from everyday routine, no matter how big or small it may be along with the hashtag #breakfree to enter into the competition.
