LOS ANGELES (AIDS Project Los Angeles/ www.apla.org) - APLA's Summer Party(TM) is set to re-launch at a new location, Paramount Studios, on Saturday, July 24 from 7 P.M. until midnight. Singer/songwriter Jewel has signed on to headline a musical bill to include Robi Draco Rosa and Paul Lekakis.

Master promoter Tom Whitman will present "Summer Nights T-Dance" with DJ Joe Gauthreaux on one of three dance floors. Toyota Scion, a new line of vehicles targeting younger consumers, will be giving away a two-year lease on the new TC Coupe to a lucky winner that night. Approximately 2,000 guests are expected to attend.

Summer Party(TM) will feature complete buffet food stations, full bars, a second disco stage, a comedy stage led by Alison Arngrim of TV's "Little House on the Prairie," country western dancing, the largest outdoor casino in California, a silent auction, a VIP lounge with lush decor and secured parking.
Donna Mills of TV's "Knots Landing" will be on hand, wearing The Hollywood Graffiti Gown, a 24 year-long philanthropic project for AIDS fundraising conceived and created by Emmy-nominated designers Jerry Skeels and Randy McLaughlin of Jeran Design.

Sponsors of Summer Party include Kenneth Cole Fragrances, KIIS-FM, HOT 92 JAMZ, K-BIG, United Airlines, Wells Fargo, Kaiser Permanente, American Express, Latham & Watkins, Anheuser-Busch, Evian and the David Geffen Foundation.
"Paramount Studios offers us an exciting new way to produce a party that everyone will remember," says Craig Thompson, Executive Director of APLA.
"It's a perfect, central location for this amazing event. It has something for everyone - above all, the chance to have fun while supporting people living with HIV/AIDS in our community."

Limited VIP tickets at $150 include an open bar in the VIP area and parking on the main lot. General Admission tickets are $85 and offer parking at Paramount's structure at Gower and Waring.
Tickets may be ordered securely with a credit card at https://www.apla.org.
