IN THE CITY URBAN 2004 – Call out for Urban demos!

LONDON, UK (YR Media) - IN THE CITY, the UK's annual music convention, has put a call out for unsigned urban demo's for the 2004 event which will be taking place on September 17th – 21st in Manchester, England.

Established in 1992 by Yvette Livesey and Anthony Wilson, IN THE CITY is the meeting point for everyone who matters in the music industry and for everyone to whom music matters.
Attracting delegates from across the world, IN THE CITY has a daytime schedule of panels, masterclasses and keynotes and when the lights go down Europes largest city based live music festival. Over the five nights of IN THE CITY LIVE over 500 acts will play in more than 50 venues.

This year will see the launch of URBAN IN THE CITY, which will form part of the annual IN THE CITY event as a whole. Panels, seminars. Keynote speeches and celebrity interviews will all take place within the convention at the �URBAN SUMMIT' including a keynote address by Matthew Knowles (Beyonnce's Manager)
To be held at Manchester's Radisson Edwardian Hotel.
We are looking for acts to perform at IN THE CITY URBAN UNSIGNED and if you want a chance to perform and take your career to the next level then please send us your demo. Demo's should include a 3 track C.D. a biog, photograph and producer/writer information. Successful applicants will be chosen by an A&R panel featuring key artists, producers and managers from the UK Urban Scene.
In the lead up to the event there will also be a public vote on the ITC website with the act obtaining the most votes winning a recording session at THE DAIRY STUDIO'S in London.
