Joe Bonamassa: Beacon Theatre - Live From New York rips through 20 songs spanning Bonamassa's career with smoky vocals complementing the guitar wizardry and rapid-fingered ease which his fans know and love. Songs include "Slow Train," "Cradle Song," "Dust Bowl," "When The Fire Hits The Sea," "Bird On A Wire," "Blue & Evil," "Mountain Time," and many more. Hart joins Bonamassa on stage for soulful duets on "I'll Take Care of You" and "Sinner's Prayer," which is featured on last year's Don't Explain - an album of soul covers Hart recorded with Bonamassa. Hiatt, a Nashville Music Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and American Music Award (AMA) winner, plays with Bonamassa on "Down Around My Place" and "I Know A Place." And legendary classic rock singer Paul Rodgers (Bad Company, Free) performs with Bonamassa on Free's "Fire And Water" and "Walk In My Shadows."

PBS and Palladia HD (Viacom Media Networks' high-definition music channel) have been airing the Joe Bonamassa: Beacon Theatre - Live From New York DVD as special programming since March. It follows up the hugely successful PBS run of Joe Bonamassa - Live At The Royal Albert Hall which featured a special guest appearance from Eric Clapton.

Bonamassa recently released his 13th solo album Driving Towards The Daylight, which was called "excellent" (Guitar Aficionado), featuring "exacting singing blends with fiery symphonic playing" (Rolling Stone). Earlier this year, Bonamassa had the honor of playing, along with Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) and Derek Trucks, at the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction of blues legend Freddie King. Other Hall of Fame inductees included Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, Guns N' Roses, Faces, and Donovan.

Bonamassa is a loyal supporter of the bluesand will play, along with Dr. John and others, at the grand finals for Guitar Center's Battle of the Blues, the search for the nation's top undiscovered blues guitar player, on August 18 at Los Angeles' Club Nokia. Guitar Center created the grassroots music program to provide aspiring and emerging guitar players the opportunity to be recognized for their talent.

In the last 365 days, Bonamassa has toured both with his Rock Supergroup Black Country Communion (BCC) and his Solo Band, reaching over 25 countries, 34 U.S States, and three continents with his sold-out LIVE shows. In the next two months, Bonamassa will visit another continent (Asia), two new countries, and will play his first show in Hawaii.

Bonamassa continues to drive sales for the guitar industry and keeping the guitar alive, helping great companies like Guitar Center, Gibson, Epiphone, Ernie Ball, Dunlop, Seymour Duncan, Clear Sonic and Klotz Cables, all of whom have signature products with the Guitar phenom. Bonamassa's style of guitar has breathed new life and excitement back into the instrument as legions of new fans are becoming familiar again with the great sound of guitar-based rock music.
