LONDON, UK (BBC Radio 2) - Singer Mica Paris is presenting a major new radio series about the history of soul, which looks at the stories behind seven records and seven artists who changed the sound of the genre.

Seminal Soul is broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on Wednesday nights from 5 September.

Paris, who has had hits with My One Temptation and I Never Felt Like This Before, tells BBC News Online about her tastes in music.
