Heineken USA, Clinique, Best Buy, Burger King, Southwest Airlines, Dentyne Fire, Verizon Wireless, Colgate-Palmolive, Univision Radio, and Terra.com have signed on to become "Official Latin GRAMMY Sponsors." Their sponsorships help to support many different aspects of the events surrounding the preeminent Latin music awards show, including the prestigious 2004 Latin Recording Academy Person Of The Year tribute honoring Carlos Santana and the Nominee Celebration (both of which will take place August 30); the Latin GRAMMY Street Parties (which will take place in five major markets around the U.S. in the month of August); and the post-telecast Latin GRAMMY Celebration Party.
Joining the Latin Recording Academy for a fifth year, Heineken USA has signed on as the official malt beverage of the 5th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards and, for the third consecutive year, will sponsor the "Heineken Green Carpet" arrivals area, as well as the post-telecast Latin GRAMMY Celebration Party. Univision Radio and Terra.com both have been a part of the Latin GRAMMY Awards in the past. Univision Radio recently acquired Hispanic Broadcasting Corp., which has supported the Latin GRAMMY Awards since its inception. Terra supported the Latin GRAMMY Awards in its inaugural year and has returned once again to support the show with Spanish-language coverage on www.latingrammy.terra.com. Both partners are dedicated to continuing the tradition of great telecast and event coverage.
In addition to creating the gift bags for guests, presenters and performers participating in the Latin GRAMMY Awards, Distinctive Assets is supporting the Latin GRAMMYs by creating the backstage Latin GRAMMY Talent Lounge, and gift bags for the Latin GRAMMY Celebration party.
