New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Teenage Chopshop Official Website) Teenage Chopshop, local indie band and D-I-Y enthusiasts, can now be found on Kickstarter.com, where they are asking local music supporters to pledge their money in aid of the band's upcoming album, entitled "EVIL TWIN." The band must reach their Kickstarter goal of 3,200 dollars by Halloween, or all of the money that has been pledged will be lost. With time running out, this young group of musicians is still determined to meet their goal. The band has taken to promoting the project locally, in hopes that Gator-pride will add to their success.
Teenage Chopshop is asking for money on Kickstarter to get new recording equipment, and packaging materials for their new album. These items are essential, as the band produces all of their own material from their modest home studio. They are obviously a dedicated group of musicians, who go the extra mile and won't let money hold them back. The band's frontman, Charlie Fehrenbacher was quoted as saying, "We intend to produce this EP if we meet our funding goal or not. We love the songs and that is what counts. The Kickstarter funds really just help us produce higher quality recordings, press more copies of our EP, and help us give a lot of cool stuff back to our fans and investors!" The band can be seen playing in Gainesville, during the month of October, in promotion of their Kickstarter project.
