SOUTH WINDSOR, CT. (Top40 Charts) Blues-rocker Eric Clapton returns to the stage in a big way in 2013 with a new tour and another edition of his triennial Crossroads Guitar Festival.
The U.S. leg of Clapton's tour begins March 14 in Phoenix, AZ, with the guitarist joined by his touring band and special guests The Wallflowers. The run will be capped off by Crossroads on April 12 and 13 at New York City's Madison Square Garden.
Launched in 2007, Crossroads is one of the biggest music festivals when it is held every three years. In 2010, it was the fourth best-selling festival on TicketNetwork.com in terms of total ticket sales. In 2013, the festival will span two days and feature over 30 artists, including B.B. King, The Allman Brothers Band, Brad Paisley, Jeff Beck, and many others.
Currently, Crossroads Festival tickets have an average list price of $1013 on TicketNetwork.com, while tickets for the national tour are listing for an average $462.
