New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hot duo LOVE AND THEFT enters 2013 with radio momentum, nomination jitters and cardio resolutions ahead of
Tim McGraw dates!
Their new single is "runnin'" ahead of schedule. Love and Theft's slinky, hot-under-the-collar single, "Runnin' Out of Air" entered the MediaBase Top 40 after just six weeks. That's well ahead of the duo's Gold-certified single "Angel Eyes," which hit #1 last August.
"We know from experience that nothing is certain. After Country radio gave us our first #1 with 'Angel Eyes,' we're just grateful to have a new song out that has also been so well received," says Eric Gunderson. "'Runnin' Out of Air,' is a groove we're proud of and hearing it on the airwaves is an unbelievable feeling."
Starting Monday, fans can vote for ACM "Newcomer" categories. LOVE AND THEFT is nominated for "New Vocal Duo or Group," one of three fan-voted newcomer awards. Voting begins Monday, January 21 (12:00pm EST) and music lovers can vote every day at VoteACM.com or GACtv.com/ACM until voting closes on Monday, February 4th (3:00pm EST). The winners will then compete for New Artist of the Year at the 48thAnnual Academy of Country
Music Awards (Broadcast live on CBS on Sunday, April 7th, 2013).

After Tim McGraw's announcement, Eric and Stephen get in gear (tour dates below). This week, it was announced that Love and Theft would join the iconic McGraw on his upcoming "Two Lanes of Freedom Tour." The 30-city trek begins May 2nd in Birmingham, AL and continues through July.
"We can't even wait to start the Tim tour!!!! He's the man," states Stephen Barker Liles. "I don't know if I'll be doing any four mile runs or lifting monster truck tires before the show like he does…maybe Eric will… But we are gonna have a blast with him, Brantley and both their teams of super talented musicians and crew!
