ole Signs Worldwide Deal With Australian Singer Clare Reynolds
TORONTO, CANADA (Top40 Charts) ole has concluded a worldwide co-publishing deal of the existing catalog and future songs written by singer/songwriter, Clare Reynolds. The deal includes both of Reynolds' released albums: Inside My Head and Colour My Heart.

Clare Reynolds, an Australian-born singer/songwriter, recently attended ole's 6th annual pop+urban songcamp: EDM Edition in Los Angeles and gave a strong performance.

"I have been one of Clare's biggest fans since she moved to L.A. a year ago," remarked ole Creative Director, Chad Richardson. "After her incredible performance at the 6th annual ole pop+urban songcamp, the rest of the ole creative team followed suit and we all wanted to sign her. Her craftsmanship with words is something truly rare and it's made her an in-demand songwriter and top-liner very quickly. I'm excited for Clare and for ole."

"Signing with ole doesn't just like feel a really great business decision," added Reynolds, "it feels like I've been welcomed into a beautiful and very talented family. I'm really excited about our future together."

Reynolds, who was born and raised in the small seaside town of Noosa, on the east coast of Australia, majored in classical voice at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane, but felt drawn to a career in pop music, both as an artist and a songwriter. She began writing songs when she graduated in 2003. In 2007, she independently released her debut album, InsideMy Head, which met with critical acclaim and produced memorable tracks later heard in a number of television and film productions in the U.S. and Australia, among them, the hit ABC-TV American medical drama series, Private Practice ("Don't Give Up"), the official trailer of the Uma Thurman film, Motherhood ("Take My Breath Away") and the iconic Australian lifesaving program, Bondi Rescue. "Come Back," from that same album, earned Song of the Month plaudits from Songwriter Universe magazine.

With her debut album in hand - and after selling-off all her worldly possessions - Reynolds travelled to the U.S. Here, she spent six months in what she has described as "a journey of self discovery" through California, Arizona and Nevada, settling briefly in cities like Nashville, Chicago and New York as she pursued a dream and gained insight into the American music industry. She returned to Australia but, with the successful, international release of her albums, including her sophomore project Colour My Heart (2011), has since returned to North America and ventured even further afield to Europe, the U.K. and Scandinavia to collaborate with hit songwriters and perform as support for prominent Australian artists like Wendy Matthews and Vanessa Amorosi.

Reynolds now lives in Los Angeles and, in recent months, has been working on projects with Alex Geringas and Rob Knox, with whom she began collaborating at the ole pop+urban songcamp last year, as well as John Reid (Keith Urban, Westlife, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis), David Glass (Flo Rida), Drew Lawrence (Christina Perri), Billy Falcon (Bon Jovi) and Eric Paslay (Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen).

This year (2013) will see Reynolds at work on a film project, the theme song for ABC Kids, music for a documentary, more tracks for the pop world and the release of her third album, My Raging Storm.
