LONDON, UK (CatDesigners Official Website) - CatDesigners are an eclectic, emotive and evocative indie band from London. Both their debut album, Chemical Jazz, and the follow-up, Strange Little Creature, have recently been made available via Bathtub Music, an online CD store. Bathtub Music has also made CatDesigners the site's new "featured artist".

Bathtub Music, launched on June 25th 2004, is a musician friendly, advertisement free, independent CD store that sells music sent directly from the musicians that created it. The music there is ONLY created by INDEPENDENT ARTISTS or musicians affiliated with independent labels. CatDesigners are proud to be associated with the site and its philosophy, "Independent Music for Independent Minds".

CatDesigners describe their music as "somewhere between Bowie, Beck, Brel, Blur and Buckley . but one more in the alphabet". After releasing their debut, Chemical Jazz, in 2003, the follow-up, Strange Little Creature, has been equally well received by the critics.
1. CatDesigners' second consistently fine album (Whisperin' & Hollerin')
2. This is a better follow-up album than it has any right to be (Phase 9)
3. Nick Troop's haunting Morrison-meets-Byrne voice is hard to ignore or resist (Music Morsels)

In a recent interview CatDesigners were described as "one of the underground 's best kept secrets" although, to date, four songs from Strange Little Creature ("Vain As I Am", "Strange Gods", "Congratulations On Your Head" and "Freak Show") have received radio support on stations covering the UK, USA, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand. And as the new featured artist at Bathtub Music it surely won't be long before CatDesigners are no longer such a well kept secret.
