Dame Luke Of The Illustrious Few releases "How It Be," The Premiere Single From His Forthcoming Album "Twenty7"
Phoenix (Top40 Charts / The Illustrious Few) In a city where many bubble and few boil, Dame Luke is erupting. The DMV native and member of The Illustrious Few, has released his premiere single February 25th, and the baby boy of seven is now first in line to show and prove with the lead single off his new album Twenty7 coming Spring of 2013.

The D.C.-bred artist offers up his new, Louie Lucas produced joint "How it be" to eager hip-hop fans who are always looking for who is next to blow. The track and accompanying music video feature fellow label mates Frisko Olay, Nate Jetson, and Kyle DaShawn, is nearing over 200,000 views on YouTube, just a month after it's release. Searing through his street- affecting track with an audible, Caribbean lilt; Dame Luke has made self-described hood characters and hip-hop elitists alike take notice. "You can't not feel this beat", promises Dame Luke. This club-banger is an anthem to consenting parties and is just the first of many to come fomr Dame this year. "How it be" is the inner feeling you get when you're out in the nightlife, and you see the one you're wanting—the lyrics are your words that you choose not to say, but would rather show" explains the rapper. "Tonight you're not looking for someone inexperienced. You're looking for someone who will take it to the next level with you—a mutual give-it-all agreement." This cerebral lyricist shows just how at home he is over this high-energy, seductive tune.

Dame Luke and his associates The Illustrious Few, boutique label and marketing firm who in addition, have come to be known as one of premeier collectives in the South West, have much more in the pipes for this coming year. The adept songwriter also moonlights as a ghostwriter for other acts in addition to persuing a solo career. With an undeniably sexy flow and lyrics that would make Lady Chatterley blush, Dame Luke is not relying on his obvious appeal to the fairer sex to catapult him to the airwaves—this kid has chops. In addition to performing throughout the South West, Dame Luke has opened for such names as; Rick Ross , Future, Fat Joe, Sean Kingston and Travis Porter . Besides garnering local buzz, "How it be" is fresh off of winning national acclaim on Sirius XM's SHADE45 radio show, Sway in the Morning and is sending tremors of anticipation through the streets of Phoenix. "I'm constantly making moves," says the rapper with a grin. Dame Luke does not sleep. Here's suggesting you do not either.
