"Why not enjoy the fall?" asks Carmen Rainier from (We Are) Nexus, the lyricist and vocalist behind the duo. "The song goes; 'I am weightless, faceless, greatness, waiting to be seen break free / Stuck in orbit like the moon bound to my past by gravity.' It's a song about internal struggle and the need we all have to break free of patterns and assumed roles that limit us. To break them takes a leap of faith, falling into something unknown. It's scary as hell, but at the same time exhilarating."
These stellar lyrics along with impeccable production quality, courtesy of producer/composer Nick Gunn, proves that Enjoy the Fall is a case point example of how great lyrics and great instrumentation combine to produce a brilliant track.
"The song drops into an instrumental chorus using square leads, wobbles, and a spaciousness that literally makes you feel like you're falling," says Gunn. "It hits the spot dead on."
