NEW YORK (Tamm E Hunt) - Jazz writer, Scott Yanow has recently included Tamm E Hunt in his new Back Beat Publisher's Book "THE JAZZ SINGERS" the 500 top all time Jazz Singers...to be released in 2005 and will be available in most upscale book stores.

Tamm E Hunt has been recognized by jazz aficionados all over the world, and "Tamm E Hunt Day" has been declared in Baltimore, MD and New York City's Harlem.
She has played and recorded at Birdland the Jazz corner of the world...Iridium, Town Hall, Lincoln Center, Blues Alley, Jazz Standard, The Haven, Caton Castle, St. Nick's Pub, Lenox Lounge, The Apollo Theater and venues in Japan, London, Rome & Paris. She has played and recorded with artists like Gary Bartz, Oscar Brown, Jr, Freddie Hubbard, Buster Williams, Eric Reed, Walter Booker, Larry Willis, Steve Novosel, Dorothy Donagan, Bobby Watson, John Hicks.... Her skills are superb and her credentials outstanding! She is the creator of the youth program, ADOPT A KID 4 JAZZ and is the executive/artistic director of The Maryland Center for the Preservation of Jazz & Blues @ Sojourner-Douglass College & The Community College of Baltimore County.
