Chicago, IL (Top40 Charts/ (We Are) Nexus official website) Having numerous successful remixes under their belts, prolific Electronic Dance
Music (EDM) remixers Wayne G & LFB prepare to once again bring their unique production skills to the table with their latest remix of (We Are) Nexus' cover of Sonique's 1998 hit "It Feels So Good."
Releasing on August 13th, 2013 through Shotgunn Productions, Wayne G & LFB's remix will be accompanied by five other remixes including (We Are) Nexus' original mix.
Separated from the rest of the pack, Wayne G & LFB's unique backgrounds have helped shape their styles into what they are today.
First making his DJ debut at London's Red
Heart party in 1996, he performed alongside
Grace Jones to a crowd of 3,000. With his foot in the door, Wayne G went on to hold a nine year DJ residency at London's famous
Heaven nightclub, catapulting Wayne to become a household name in the UK.
Since then, Wayne G has gone on to perform at numerous big-name house music festivals across the globe including the Berlin Love
Parade and New York's Fire Island Pines Party and provide remixes for such artists as Cher, Whitney Houston, and Madonna.
Covering a range of house music genres, it's hard to pinpoint Wayne G's musical style. From the funky vibes of classic house music to the sounds of 150bpm Hard House Raves, Wayne G strives to cover all the bases by bringing his expansive remix style to (We Are) Nexus' cover of Sonique's "It Feels So Good." Wayne G gives the original a signature spin that can only come from the EDM knowledge of a seasoned DJ.
On the other side of this collaboration is Leo Frappier, better know as LFB. Being involved in the dance music industry since 1985, LFB infuses a classic disco sound with the modern edge of today's EDM.
Creating his first remix for disco diva Sylvester, LFB has since gone on to remix many of today's popular acts like
Rihanna and Mary J Blige.
In addition to his remixes, LFB also creates original music under the name Outer Sunset with fellow producer Scott Brannon. Outer Sunset's first single, "Feel My Magic," was touted by DJ
Paul Oakenfold during his live sets and went on to become one of the top fifty Trance songs in sales the year of its release.
In their remix of (We Are) Nexus' cover of Sonique's "It Feels So Good," expect Wayne G and LFB both to be in top form. Featuring the punchy production of Wayne G and the funky influences of LFB, this remix is sure to become a mainstay of DJ sets around the world.
Wayne G & LFB's remix will be released on August 13th, 2013 through Shotgunn Productions accompanied by several other remixes as well as (We Are) Nexus' original mix and will be available from all major on-line stores wherever music is sold.
