Herbert Gronemeyer To Release Concert DVD 'I Walk: Live' - Featuring Guest Appearance By Bono, Set Design By Anton Corbijn - Sept 10 First US Tour Launches Next Day, Sept 11

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Herbert Grönemeyer's first English language concert DVD, 'I Walk: Live,' will be released September 10th, the day before he launches his first ever US tour. The concert aired nationally on PBS throughout June and features two duets with Bono on Herbert's best-selling song "Mensch" and U2's "Stuck In A Moment." The DVD features 21 tracks including nine never-before-seen performances, as well as an inspired cover of Bruce Springsteen's "I'm On Fire," and "The Tunnel," which Herbert originally composed for the film "The American" starring George Clooney. The DVD follows the release earlier this year of 'I Walk,' Herbert's first English-language album in over 20 years, which features performances with Bono and Antony Hegarty of Antony & The Johnsons.

Filmed at Berlin's famed Babelsberg Studios, the oldest large production studio in the world, the stage design for 'I Walk: Live' was created by longtime collaborator Anton Corbijn. Herbert has frequently worked with Anton, most recently scoring his upcoming film 'A Most Wanted Man,' due out this fall and starring Philip Seymour Hoffman.

A true renaissance man, Grönemeyer first came to prominence in Germany starring in the classic film 'Das Boot.' He has since become Germany's all-time best selling recording artist with over 18 million albums sold. He has appeared in several other films and also runs the record label Grönland, which has reissued seminal Krautrock albums by Neu!, Klaus Dinger and Harmonia, plus new releases by Metric, Gang of Four and others..
