NEW YORK (AP) - The wishes of fans of the Boss will come true Nov. 6 with Columbia's DVD release of "Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band - Live in New York City." The double-DVD set will include not only the Emmy-nominated HBO concert special of the same name from earlier this year, but 11 additional songs and a 15-minute featurette with interviews and rare concert and rehearsal footage. Among the songs not seen in the HBO special are "Backstreets," "Don't Look Back," "Darkness on the Edge of Town," "Jungleland," and "Ramrod," as well as the concert rarity "Lost in the Flood," a bluesy, solo reinvention of "Born in the U.S.A.," and "The Promise," which features Springsteen in a solo piano/vocal performance. Also added are three songs that appeared in the set virtually every night during the E Street Band's year-long reunion tour: "Light of Day," "Thunder Road," and "If I Should Fall Behind." As a bonus, a live rendition of "The E Street Shuffle" is seen over the end credits of the release. Dubbed "NYC Serenade," the 15-minute feature vignette boasts footage of the group performing a dozen songs, including "Adam Raised a Cain," "Back in Your Arms," and "Blood Brothers," and is bolstered by interviews with each E Street Band member. The disc - recorded in Dolby 5.1 digital surround sound and captured in Sony's HDCAM 1080/60i high definition format - also features a gallery of backstage and live concert photos from the tour.
