BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records) - Starfield, Canada's leading worship band, continues to promote its self-titled American debut with two new singles at radio starting mid-September and two concert tours in the works for September and October.

Following "Filled With Your Glory," Starfield's first Top Ten radio hit, the band will release "Alive In This Moment" to adult contemporary stations and "Revolution" to contemporary hit and rock outlets.

The band is also now playing select dates on the ShoutFest 04 Tour with Jump5, ZOEgirl, and Tait. Then, from September 15 to October 23, Starfield partners with other favorite newcomers Todd Agnew, Building 429, and BarlowGirl for the In The Name Of Love Tour, inspired by IN THE NAME OF LOVE - ARTISTS UNITED FOR AFRICA, an all-star recording made to raise funds for AIDS relief. That set includes Starfield's recording of the U2 classic, "40."

Indeed, Starfield is emerging as one of today's best new live acts. The band was a consistent bestseller at major music festivals this summer, and fellow artists that have toured with the quartet are quick to compliment its art and message.

Mark Hall, lead singer of Casting Crowns and an active youth worker, says, "Their humble hearts and high energy for Jesus made me want them to minister to my kids and share the stage with Casting Crowns."

Chris Tomlin recently said, "I just spent a couple of weeks on the road with the Starfield boys, and I am a fan. I already knew that their music was good, but their hearts for God and His people stood out the most. Their attitude toward ministry was refreshing."

Already established in its native Canada, Starfield recently won five of the nation's prestigious Vibe Awards for Christian music, including Best Artist, Song, and Worship Album. For a complete list of tour dates, visit
