LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Earshot Media) New York City-based indie label I Surrender Records, run by former Midtown drummer Rob Hitt, Gaby Fainsilber, and Alex Sarti will release, I Surrender Records Presents: Our Voices, this fall. This will be the first in what the label hopes will become an ongoing series of EPs featuring original solo tracks from the members of some of the biggest and most influential punk and indie bands. The initial EP will be available November 25 and features brand new music from Adam Lazzara of Taking Back Sunday, Anthony Raneri of Bayside, Chris Conley of Saves The Day, and Vinnie Caruana of I Am The Avalanche.

In explaining the origins of Our Voices, Hitt says, "Time flies. I Surrender Records celebrated its 10 year anniversary this year. It's crazy how much happens when you look back and reflect on what you were doing 10 years ago and what you're doing today. When we started this label, listening to these artists helped us, along with so many others, get through the best and worst times. We admired and listened, but never thought we'd have the opportunity to release music with them. This experience for us has been both a childhood dream and amazing opportunity to work with talented songwriters who have become friends over the years. In a band, you tend to play a specific style of music so you don't let your listeners down. For this project, we wanted a way to give musicians an opportunity to step outside the box stylistically without any expectations. Throw out the guidelines and give the artist the platform to be creative beyond their past. That's when Our Voices was born."

Taking Back Sunday's Adam Lazzara says, "I can't thank Rob enough for considering me for this split. I spend so much time with my acoustic guitar but I haven't taken the opportunity to release any of that material until now. It feels good to be able to share that with folks."

Saves The Day's Chris Conley says, "Adam, Anthony, and Vinnie are some of my favorite people in all of music, not to mention some of my favorite dudes in all the world. I had a total blast recording 'Diamonds & White Gold' and I'm honored to be part of such a great collection of songs from such incredible songwriters."

Regarding his track, I Am The Avalanche's Vinnie Caruana states, "This song ("Sick Down to My Heart") was really fun to write. It's obviously a violent song but in a very tongue-in-cheek kind of way. Being billed among these talented dudes, I wanted to come strong and I like to think the result is a respectable contribution to this really cool release."

Our Voices is available now for pre-order and the limited-edition vinyl (limited to 500/color) includes 4 color options and b-side etching, along with a digital download. A special bundle package (limited to 50) includes all 4 colors and a hand-screened/hand-numbered 12x19 poster. The iTunes Digital Pre-Order coming shortly Oct-22.
