Tess Parks - Blood Hot CD
Scuzzy, downbeat psychedelia (think Mazzy Star crossed with The Brian Jonestown Massacre)

Tess describes her songs as "lo-fi alternative drones with a hypnotic vibe". Influences include Elliott Smith, friends the Dandy Warhols and all the classics: "I was brought up on Bob Dylan, Nirvana, The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Zeppelin." Tess recorded her album of scuzzy, downbeat psychedelia (think Mazzy Star crossed with The Brian Jonestown Massacre) across the summer.

Alan McGee's 359 Music To Release Three More Albums In December
POTTSTOWN, PA. (Top40 Charts/ MVD Entertainment) Alan McGee, the legendary indie mogul responsible for signing Oasis, Primal Scream, My Bloody Valentine, and many other great bands to his Creation label before setting up Poptones, announced his newest project, 359 Music, earlier this year. McGee has given an open invite for artists to submit their music for consideration, and has promised to personally listen to them all.

McGee states, "My vision for 359 Music is a launch pad for new talent and some ignored older talent. We intend to release on average a dozen new bands per year every year - maybe more if I find a lot of new talent I like. Hopefully some of the artists will stick around and make numerous albums with 359 but some will go on to other things and that is just nature of the musical beast."

DETAILS ON THE DECEMBER 3RD RELEASES

Gun Club Cemetery - Gun Club Cemetery CD
Gun Club Cemetery release their debut album on the back of their single 'Needle Aside'.

Gun Club Cemetery love good old-fashioned, down and dirty guitar music but like the bands who have inspired them - The Faces and The Stones - they can also turn a hand to a sensitive, heart-rending piano ballad. Their self-titled debut boasts infectious retro guitar grooves (Black Keys and Oasis). Alex's new-found love of Americana contrasts barroom rockers to heart-rending slowies.
