State of Texas.

Mr. Sommer is touring in support of Rainy Day Karma, his new record on CIT, and collecting new materials for his follow-up record that is next up in the studio. The new disc contains 14 songs, an instrumental or two and a lot of writing that mixes heartbreaks, jail breaks, tough breaks and tornadoes with social insights and urban decay.
Sounds delightful. And Eric Sommer fans can't seem to get enough.
With open tunings, slide guitar, lap-slap tone guitar and a remarkably aggressive fingering style approach, watching Eric Sommer will make you jump out of your seat and holler for joy.
