Linkin Park & Steve Aoki To Release 'A Light That Never Comes (Remixes)' EP On January 21, 2014
LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) Grammy-nominated international producer/DJ Steve Aoki joins forces with Grammy-Award-winning, multi-platinum alternative rock band Linkin Park to release the A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (Remixes) EP January 21 on Warner Bros. Records/Dim Mak Records . For the package, Aoki and Linkin Park enlist a diverse pool of producers to remix their massive hit collaboration "A Light That Never Comes." Featuring renditions from Rick Rubin , Vicetone , Angger Dimas , Coone , twoloud , and Brian Yates , the A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (Remixes) EP takes the original electro/rock hybrid and flips it into the worlds of dubstep, house, hardstyle, and beyond.

On the A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES (Remixes) EP , each individual remix reflects a distinct take on the original and explores the wide space of electronic music. Legendary producer Rick Rubin brings a hip edge to his version, mixing tribal drums and sharp electronics. Vicetone does double duty with two featured remixes that display frenetic intensity. Aoki's personal favorite remix comes from twoloud, whose progressive house sound bangs louder than ever.

Dim Mak's own Angger Dimas provides one of the most unique contributions on the EP. His mix of electro/progressive house and world bass takes "A Light That Never Comes" to almost unrecognizable heights. Coone, Dim Mak 's first-ever hardstyle artist , brings a heavy touch to the track, mixing his signature hardstyle kicks and thumping bass. The package also includes a remix from producer Brian Yates, the grand prize winner of a recent "A Light That Never Comes" remix contest from Indaba Music and Microsoft Surface .
