NEW YORK (Sony BMG Music Entertainment/ www.epicrecords.com) - Sony BMG Music Entertainment's Epic Records and Integrity Music Group, a division of Integrity Media, Inc., one of the fastest growing companies in the Christian Music market, today announced that they have extended the worldwide arrangement through which Epic Records markets and distributes releases from a wide array of Integrity-owned and associated music labels to mainstream retail outlets, while Integrity markets and distributes key Sony Music Label Group releases to Christian retail outlets. Epic Records first began to work with Integrity in 1997, helping to market Integrity artists and releases to mainstream audiences. Over the course of the past seven years the relationship has continued to evolve to encompass a broad range of activities.

In addition, Sony BMG's Provident Music Group and Integrity Music Group announced that they have entered into an agreement through which Provident Music Group will sell and distribute releases from all Integrity Music-owned and associated music labels to Christian retail outlets, including INO Records, Integrity Music, Vertical Music; Hosanna! Music; Integrity Gospel; Integrity Just For Kids and Hillsong Music Australia. The new relationship will commence on January 1st, 2005.

As part of the new arrangement, Provident Music Group will rename their distribution arm Provident-Integrity Distribution. In addition to Integrity Media's labels, Provident Music Group distributes wholly-owned labels Brentwood, Benson, Essential, and Reunion Records, as well as numerous independent labels.

"Epic Records and Integrity have had a great working relationship for many years, and this expanded agreement will provide both companies - and their artists - with a wealth of new opportunities," commented Don Ienner, President and CEO, Sony Music Label Group, US. "Epic's Steve Barnett has helped to establish a solid foundation for this partnership, and moving forward he'll play a key role as we continue to build on the successes of the past. Integrity is a world-class music company, and I was extremely impressed when I visited their operations in Mobile and met with their highly accomplished team. I look forward to working closely with Integrity's Mike Coleman, Jerry Weimer, Dan McGuffey, Chris Thomason, and Jeff Moseley, and everyone in the Integrity family, as we establish broad audiences for a wide range of artists and projects."

"Mike Coleman, the President and CEO of Integrity Media, and our entire team, see this announcement as a great way to further develop the extremely positive relationship we've enjoyed with Epic Records and the Sony Music Label Group," commented Jerry Weimer, President, Integrity Music Group and Chief Operating Officer/Executive Vice President, Integrity Media.
"Epic's Steve Barnett and Sony Music Label Group's Don Ienner have both shown a very strong commitment to the Christian Music business, and their dedication, passion for music, and many strengths in both marketing and distribution have been of tremendous value as we've continued to build Integrity's market share and position. We look forward to establishing a new relationship with Provident - they are one of the most effective and well respected organizations in the industry, and I have every confidence that together we will be a major force in Christian Music. I look forward to working closely with Terry Hemmings and the entire Provident team as we build an even brighter future. Over the years we have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Word Entertainment, and even as our company begins to grow in new directions we thank them for all of their hard work and dedication."

"Our relationship with Integrity has provided us with important opportunities to further expand the audience for a broad range of artists in the Christian music market," commented Steve Barnett, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Epic Records. "At the same time we've been able to bring a wide variety of Integrity projects to broader mainstream audiences. Moving forward, we're extremely excited about working with Integrity on a broad range of new initiatives, including INO Record's stellar roster of artists such as Mercy Me, CeCe Winans and Darlene Zschech."

Terry Hemmings, President and CEO, Provident Music Group, commented, "We are honored and humbled that Integrity has chosen to partner with Provident for the sales and distribution of our products to Christian retail outlets. We hold them in highest regard both personally and professionally and look forward with great anticipation to the coming years as we work together to grow our businesses and Christian music. We are optimistic about the future of this industry and look to build this organization, both domestically and internationally. Integrity's personnel, products and artists fit perfectly with ours and Sony-BMG's to create this incredible partnership."
