New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ DNT Entertainment) X-Factor season 2 contestant Macy Kate is set to tour with emerging Pop/Rock band "Before You Exit." The national tour kicks off March 18th in Raleigh, North Carolina.
At just 15 years old, Macy has already inked a YouTube partnership with Sony/ATV, has over 17 million views, 7 channels on YouTube, and has recently signed with Paradigm Talent Agency. In less than six months, Macy Kate has turned her cover of "Radioactive," made popular by Imagine Dragons, into a YouTube smash. This video alone has accumulated over 7,500,000 views, and has landed the praise and respect of almost 100,000 subscribers. Macy and her band, MKB, have officially confirmed that they are planning to take this success on the road with popular Pop/Rock band "Before You Exit".
Macy Kate's band, MKB, has been referred to in the media as her "teenage heart-throb boy band." "They are like brothers to Macy!" comments Macy's publicist. The band includes: Austin Anderson on the bass guitar, Nick Lopez on the drums, and Cade Larson on the electric guitar, keys and backing vocals.
