Tumblewild Release Debut Album 'When The World Had Four Corners'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The indie music duo known as Tumblewild have released their awaited debut album, "When the World Had Four Corners." The album contains 10 original tracks for an approximate total listening time of half an hour. It has been proudly released on the Tumblewild Music independent record label. An upbeat, quirky and undeniably charming record, Tumblewild's "When the World Had Four Corners" is a sonic steam engine fans of every music genre can get aboard.

Tumblewild's official Facebook page describes their modern western sound as indie, road-trip, country, blues, barn-rock and pop music. That the word 'folk' may seem fitting in there somewhere is due to Tumble's general vibe and overtones, which lie somewhere between the Cowboy Junkies and Chris Isaak with healthy doses of contemporary indie pop for added bounce. Their 19th-century American groove and character are impeccably captured in their recently published music video, "Revenge," which was shot in a single day near their home in Belgium with the help of friends and no frills whatsoever (link provided below).

True audiophiles will embrace Tumblewild's first record for its sonic purity. Studio effects are sparse and well implemented where present. Instrumentation is both restrained and colorful. No 12-man orchestra à la the Magnetic Zeros, here. Instead, listeners will enjoy a simple tambourine, plenty of acoustic guitars, and an enchanting glockenspiel Evans saved from the dustbin of a local school.

Though Tumblewild's "When the World Had Four Corners" is the first official LP from the group, core members Audrey Evans and Alonza Bevan are far from new to music. The husband-and-wife team are veterans of such popular and renowned projects as the Mediaeval Babes and Kula Shaker, respectively. Their combined accolades include feature-film soundtracks and double-platinum albums, among many others. They are currently preparing to recruit more musicians into their fold.

"When the World Had Four Corners" by Tumblewild is available online worldwide. Get in early.
