Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ LaFamos Press) New York based singer-songwriter, Carrie Lane, is on a mission to tell honest stories through relatable lyrics, while empowering young girls without glamorizing a Hollywood lifestyle. The pop artist is enthusiastic about the release of her new single "Found You," now on iTunes, and aspires to help others find clarity through her music.
The pop vocalist's musical influences spanning from Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and Cher Lloyd contribute to her sweet, yet sassy, modern pop style. "Found You" was produced by Ron Geffen, who also co-wrote the track with Carrie, and is executive produced by two-time Grammy Award Winning producer, Jarret Zellea (Luther Vandross, The Aviator). Her powerful vocals tell a classic girl meets boy story, with an underlying theme of self-discovery through falling in love. Carrie is thrilled about the release of her single. She explains, "I am so excited for everyone to get a taste for not only who I am, but also what I have to say as an artist. I have been working so hard to build something and create a piece of art that I can share with people and use to connect with people. This single is perfect because it comes from such a real and happy part of my heart." Directed by Chris Palanca, a music video for "Found You" was also recently released. The video portrays Carrie falling in love with the barista at a local coffee shop.
Carrie discovered her niche for performing at the young age of four. With supportive parents by her side, the vocalist was performing in musical theatre productions and various ensembles and choirs. By the age of eighteen, Carrie was fully immersed with pursuing a career as a professional artist. Bringing more talent to the table than just music, Carrie is also a model for MSA Modeling Agency and is the face of Bangz Salon and Wellness Spa, since winning a competition for the spa's search of an individual making a difference within their community and who exemplifies the belief that beauty comes from within. The prize was a cash donation to a charity of her choice. As a diabetes advocate who suffers from the disease herself, she donated the money to JDRF, a cause she is actively passionate about.
Carrie Lane and her team are currently writing and recording new material for her debut album; set to be released later this year. "Found You" is only a taste of the compelling material she is set to release. Purchase "Found You" on iTunes now and keep up with Carrie Lane by visiting www.CarrieLaneMusic.com.
