Bubbatrees Shares Tantilising New Single Daddy's Little Evil
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Glasgow's New Wave trio Bubbatrees return with tantalising new single 'Daddy's Little Evil' October 25th.
Bubbatrees journey began back in 2016, comprising of longtime friends Andrew Gibb and Kyle Findlay. Meeting in Glasgow at a young age, Andrew and Kyle had gone under a variety of different guises, trying to perfect their unique sound. It wasn't until the recent addition of Cameron Robertson, that Bubbatrees became the dark pop entity we now know today.

Blending samples, synths, guitars and hard-hitting drums, Bubbatrees have created their own distinct sound, which is something that has earned them national radio play on BBC, along with several jam-packed Glasgow and Edinburgh gigs in the likes of King Tuts, St Lukes, and Sneaky Pete's.

When asked about the track, Bubbatrees stated: "In comparison to some songs we have written this song took a lot of time to write and it went through various transitional stages before we settled on a final product. Lyrically the song is about toxicity and evil traits, whether in a relationship or just day to day life. We each have good and bad personality characteristics, and I wanted to convey through the lyrics that this is ok, this is what makes us human."

Taking their cues from the likes of The Cure, Boy Harsher and Tears for Fears, Bubbatrees blend their own unique combination of synths and distinct drums, setting them in a league of their own. With plenty more to come from the trio, they are certainly ones to watch.
