New York, NY (Top40 Charts) DJ Snake has shared an 8-bit animated version of the video for his global hit single "Taki Taki" featuring Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B. Released in September, "Taki Taki" has amassed over 1.5 billion total combined streams to date.

With its retro aesthetic, the animated version of the "Taki Taki" video finds DJ Snake and his three featured artists rendered in full 8-bit glory. The visual directly animates certain sections of the official "Taki Taki" video - the ninth-fastest music video of all time to hit 100 million views on YouTube.

As of now, the official "Taki Taki" video has racked up over 643 million views in just eight weeks since its release. Directed by Colin Tilley, the official video for "Taki Taki" premiered during the American Music Awards on October 9 and surpassed 100 million views in just eight days. In addition to emerging as one of the top five most highly viewed music videos of 2018, "Taki Taki" has joined the top 10 list of the fastest music videos to reach the 100-million-view milestone.
Having shot to #1 on iTunes in 25 countries, "Taki Taki" continues DJ Snake's track record of global hits, from "Turn Down for What" to "Let Me Love You" to the club smash of last summer: his India-inspired "Magenta Riddim." "Taki Taki" arrives ahead of DJ Snake's forthcoming album, set to drop soon.
