New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Vault, one of South Jersey�s newest and most premier music venues, is packing a one-two punch as it hosts chart-topping artist Jeffrey Gaines and critically-acclaimed performer Matt Portella on Saturday, March 12.
Both singer-songwriters have shared the stage before in Philadelphia and New York City, but this is the first time they�re appearing together in New Jersey. The Vault show promises to be a �must-see� event as both Gaines and Portella will perform a selection of songs from their list of fan favorites.
Gaines debut album Jeffrey Gaines launched him on an international level with the anthemic single �Hero in Me�, which became a Buzz Bin video in MTV Europe. Since the debut, Gaines has released six more albums and tours throughout North
America and
Europe on a constant basis.
He tours primarily as a headliner and he has also shared the stage with Sting, Tom Pettty and
Stevie Nicks While touring
Europe with Tom Petty, his version of �In Your Eyes� broke down the language barrier to an entirely new audience. Upon releasing the song on Always Be he was called �.... The voice of a new generation� by Rolling Stone Magazine.
Also performing with some of music�s heavy hitters, Portella broke onto the scene opening up for such artists as Dave
Mason and The Bacon Brothers and released his debut full-length LP, Fractured Image in 2013 to astounding praise. For the album, he teamed up with bassist Fran Smith, Jr. from The Hooters to cut tracks on both the east and west coasts. The record was produced by Portella and co-produced by Smith and Andy Kravitz (Juliana Hatfield, Life of Agony). Tod Howarth (Frehley�s Comet, Cheap Trick, Four by Fate) joined in on some of the backing vocals as well.

The Matt Portella/Jeffrey Gaines show at The Vault starts at 8 PM (doors open at 7:30 PM / VIP doors at 6:30 PM) and ends at 10 PM. The show is all ages.
