New York, NY (Top40 Charts) CJ Solar's "American Girls" single continues to fly up the Country charts, and today massive entertainment site popculture.com premiered the satirical and light-hearted music video. The short film was produced by Patrick Tohill and shot outside Nashville.

"We wanted to do a cool rock-n-roll throwback kind of video where we just had a ton of fun hanging out with friends, and I think we pulled it off," said CJ, whose vision and concept for the video were captured in the final product. "We had a blast filming it, and really appreciate PopCulture for sharing it with the world!"

The video opens with CJ building a wooden booth to solicit "American Girls" to be in his music video, while his band mates play video games and fill a kiddie pool with water. With not much happening, CJ nods off into a dream and wakes to find beautiful women lined up to be in the video. He and his band perform the song, as the ladies dance to the beat. CJ is awakened by Jerrod Niemann, who asks what he's doing. CJ replies, "We're trying to make a music video dude. Wanna be in it? Niemann has a colorful reply.

CJ recently got word streams of his music have surpassed four million on Spotify and continue to grow exponentially. He has gained significant momentum on the popular Spotify-curated playlist New Boots and many others.

Solar, who Rolling Stone Country named one of their "New Artists You Need To Know," wrote "American Girls" with Michael Hardy, Jake Mitchell and Michael Hobby of A Thousand Horses.

About CJ Solar: Born and raised in Baton Rouge, CJ was heavily influenced by the soulful music of the region, along with Southern Rock and Country. He signed to Sea Gayle Music shortly after graduating from Belmont University and has had cuts by Jerrod Niemann, Justin Moore and Texas artists Mike Ryan and Kyle Park. He scored his first #1 as a writer, when Morgan Wallen's "Up Down" single featuring Florida Georgia Line, topped both the Billboard and Mediabase charts.

His critically-acclaimed Hard One To Turn Down EP, which The Shotgun Seat called "the perfect pairing of country storytelling and rocking rhythms, married by his dynamic vocals," led to him being named one of their "17 to Watch in 17." When his new Get Away With It EP was released, top country entertainment outlet Taste of Country named CJ as one of their "5 Country Artists to Watch in May 2018."
