Tapwaterz Releases 'The Jimmy Brooks Chronicles' Vol. 1 Presented By Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Promotions

Miami, FL (Top40 Charts/ Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes) Artist Tapwaterz recently released his mixtape "The Jimmy Brooks Chronicles" Vol. 1 presented in association with Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Promotions. The project is available from Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes at https://www.coast2coastmixtapes.com for free download. "The Jimmy Brooks Chronicles" features Tapwaterz on a variety of remix and original tracks, many of which are originally performed by hip hop artist Drake. Other production is added by Rickfire.

At the age of 17, Namel "Tapwaterz" Norris was accidentally shot by a cousin and paralyzed from the chest down. Never losing his love for hip hop, he teamed up with Ricardo "Rickfire" Velasquez (also paralyzed due to gun violence) to make music, create opportunities for the disabled using hip hop and urban culture, and also inspire other people with disabilities to pursue their dreams. The duo formed 4 Wheel City, a nonprofit organization, and have performed and spoken at various hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers, fundraisers, and events.

Tapwaterz also pursues his music individually, one project being "The Jimmy Brooks Chronicles" Vol. 1. The mixtape is partially inspired by artist Drake's earlier role on Degrassi: The Next Generation, where he played Jimmy Brooks, a young man confined to a wheelchair after being shot. The mixtape is a collection of songs (many performed over Drake's beats) that detail Tapwaterz' life and issues he faces since his accident. The project also features a number of skits drawn from Drake's role and other appearances.
