The Philadelphia Orchestra's 2016 Tour Of Asia And China Residency Features Listening Opportunities For Audiences Around The World, Including Two Unprecedented Live Radio Broadcasts On Philadelphia's WRTI 90.1 FM
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Philadelphia Orchestra Association) The Philadelphia Orchestra's 2016 Tour of Asia and China Residency features a number of opportunities for music lovers all over the globe to see and hear the Orchestra and Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

On Wednesday, May 18, at 8 PM, a chamber concert at the RTHK Radio 4 facilities in Hong Kong was broadcast live on RTHK (Radio Television Hong Kong). A rebroadcast of the program will occur on May 23 at 2 PM. The concert will also be placed on RTHK's website for on-demand streaming for one year after the broadcast. The performance will also be filmed for broadcast over the summer on RTHK TV-31 and shown post-television airing on the RTHK website and its corresponding YouTube channel.

On Thursday, May 19, and Friday, May 20, The Philadelphia Orchestra and Yannick Nézet-Séguin can be heard live from the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on RTHK Radio 4 at 8 PM and in the Philadelphia region at 8 AM through the Orchestra's broadcast partner WRTI 90.1 FM. Gregg Whiteside, the host of the Orchestra's Sunday broadcasts, joins the Orchestra in Hong Kong to host WRTI's program.

In addition to the radio broadcasts, the May 19 program will be videotaped by RTHK for a delayed television broadcast on RTHK TV 31's "Arts on Air" program on September 24 and placed on rthk.hk after the airing for on-demand website streaming.

The Sunday, May 22, Side-by-Side concert with the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra at the Shanghai International Tourism Resort Zone will be captured for delayed television broadcast on Shanghai's local "Art & Culture" TV channel.

The Orchestra's concert with Lang Lang on Tuesday, May 24, at Beijing's National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) will be video captured for delayed streaming on CCTV's public music channel.

Finally, the Orchestra's concert on Thursday, May 26, at NCPA will be video captured for delayed streaming through NCPA's website.
