Jango Flash delves into the sentiment of the track, as he expresses - "The lyrics deal with existentialism brought on by feelings of remorse in a relationship. It was both an apology to my partner and a pivotal moment where I realised I had been emotionally insular for quite some time. It felt natural for me to carry the words of something quite personal over a vibrant melody with a strong beat. I just loved the idea of exerting these heavy thoughts I was having with a blast of epiphany induced pop music... when on the flip side, this track could have easily bleated on like the glum sincerity of a disgraceful comedown."
