Latin Grammy Nominee Rock Group, A Band Of Bitches, Could Be A Secret Society Led By Known Ushka
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ ER:M+M) Having set the tone of being a secret society with plans to control the world order, the group known as A Band Of Bitches (ABOB) celebrates their nomination for the 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards as Best New Artist of the year, and confirms their attendance at the awards ceremony to take place at the Mandalay Hotel in Las Vegas, on November 21.

ABOB is a musical project that was born as an audio visual concept 2 years ago, under USHKA's leadership. Besides being the group's leader, he writes their songs while keeping his face and real name anonymous. The other group members, who also hide their personalities, are excellent Latin American musicians with a long history and lots of talent.

USHKA is a musician who has developed his professional side and been successful for almost 20 years. It wasn't until 2011, however, when he started to write ABOB's debut album called "The Pre End Of The World Soundtrack" (Apodaca Records / Sony), produced by Heriberto Lopez. The track "Noreste Caliente", the album's second single that has become a great hit on the radio, reaching first positions on playlists in Mexico, is still a big hit in clubs. The video, directed by Antonio Guajardo, has registered over 2 million hits on YouTube.

The group has had a great debut on every stage they have set foot on, sharing the stage from the first shows on with bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins and Caifanes , quickly making a name for themselves internationally. Their subsequent single, "Mambo en trompeta para ti", launches them as a promising musical phenomenon and has them playing at renowned festivals such as SXSW, Vive Latino, Neon Desert and Pa'l Norte Music Fest.

A Band Of Bitches features an eclectic sound which they describe as Soft Porn Rock, and on their first release we hear everything from mambo to banda norteƱa and even acid jazz. Consisting of 6 members (Ushka, Fex, Fuk Dude, Faceless Bastard, DWA and Pace), ABOB present themselves as a society that has endured centuries, whose origins are uncertain and who may have possible extraterrestrial connections, having also been directly infiltrated by great historical leaders from the last century, some of whom may have been responsible for catastrophes and reigns of terror. ABOB pretend to be a rock band that remains anonymous, uses false names, wears latex masks that have become their trademark, and whose main objective is to control humans and thereby reach all of the world's cultures.

A Band of Bitches ends this year on a high note with the nomination for the Latin Grammys and the release of their next single, a new track that will be included in the next EP to be launched at the beginning of 2014, a year filled with plans, such as the confirmation of their participation at the Indio Alter Rock Fest together with Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco, among other renowned bands.
