"The Party's Good On The Road To Hell" Sings Marc Blackwell On His New EP

"The Party's Good On The Road To Hell" Sings Marc Blackwell On His New EP
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "The Party's Good on the Road to Hell" sings Marc Blackwell on his new EP, Farther From Good. The EP has a 'good' theme and four kick-A tracks. There's rock, blues and Americana, with grit, attitude, slide guitar and some soulful female backing vocals (Morgen La Civita). The songs deal with good and no good from a variety of crazy perspectives. Adventure and trouble come fast, bigger than life. There's cons and cars, fistfights, fortunes and fun; a teenage boy's dream woman, a woman to protect and a princess to charm; gold doubloons, handcuffs, embezzlement, lies, disguise, beautiful deception, a best friend who sets him up and Johnny Depp. Marc cheats at cards, steals a police car, sings with Bono and The Edge and plays golf with Presidents. There's even some philosophy, advice and reflection. And then there's more. It's a killer GOOD time and Marc tells it all to you with his gritty Jakob Dylan meets Tom Petty meets Johnny Cash delivery.

Marc is a singer-songwriter-producer from Chicago, Illinois, USA. He toured the Midwest for 11 years with Mike & Joe, and has shared the stage with some great bands like The Samples, Kid Rock and Vertical Horizon. Pursuing his own music since 2007, when he left the band, has resulted in a lot of Marc's songs playing on TV, his debut CD (2011), his band project Mad July's debut release (2013) and this new EP (Dec 2015).
