Lawsuit Filed In USA For Jenni Rivera's Plane Crash
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) A Petition for discovery was filed in Chicago, Illinois, involving the plane crash of Jenni Rivera and her team in Mexico. The truth seeking and assignment of liability process has begun. The pleadings were filed by Ribbeck Law Chartered, a law firm with offices in The United States of America and The United Kingdom.

Three weeks after the tragic accident, which took the lives of 5 passengers, Jacob Yebale, Arturo Rivera, Jorge Sanchez, Mario Macias, Jenni Rivera, and 2 crew members, a highly specialized aviation lawfirm, Ribbeck Law Chartered, has begun the legal proceedings in the USA. Monica Kelly, Head of Global Aviation at Ribbeck Law, stated that "the family members of Jacob Yebale have taken the initial step to find out the real cause as to why the plane crashed. The family members want all of the responsible parties to be brought to justice."

The Jenni Rivera's plane crash litigation in the USA will bring to justice all responsible parties including the owner, the leasing company; the maintenance company, and Learjet, a division of Bombardier Aerospace, the company that designed and manufactured the aircraft, Ms. Kelly stated. All of these companies have their headquarters in the USA. Monica Kelly stated that "this is going to be a difficult legal battle but that our law firm, Ribbeck Law is ready, has the knowledge, experience and resources to put the case through the legal process and make those responsible accountable for their actions".

Ribbeck Law Chartered has already retained a team of aviation experts to work in Jenni Rivera's plane crash case, including Max Vermij, a former investigator of the Canadian Transportation and Safety Board. Our own investigation conducted by our own experts will help us to exactly determine the cause of this plane crash. Ribbeck Law and its experts will be meeting with the official investigators of the Mexican Civil Aviation Department and will conduct their own investigation at the crash site.

The lead lawyer, Monica Kelly, explained that the purpose of the litigation is to find the truth behind the causes of the crash in order to bring closure to the families and to avoid similar incidents from happening again. Ms. Kelly added that the litigation in the USA will seek a multi-million dollar damages award. "The companies have to be punished for their dangerous wrongful behavior that has caused the loss of seven lives. These companies do not have feelings. They only understand dollars and cents. That is why we have to get a multi-million dollar award, to hurt them in their pockets, where it really hurts them, sothey change the way they conduct business".

Ms. Kelly explained that Ribbeck Law will litigate in Las Vegas, Nevada, where the plane is registered, Ohio, where the aircraft manufacturer is registered and any other jurisdiction where the responsible entities reside. Today's court filing is to obtain detailed information from the manufacturer of the plane. "This is the initial pre-discovery face of the case which will help identify the responsible parties", stated Ms. Kelly. The petition for discovery filed today requests that the court orders the defendants to provide documents pertaining to the ownership, leasing, design, manufacturing and maintenance records of the accident LearJet 25.

Jacob Yebale was a talented and much loved individual and we are honored to have started the litigation of this case on his behalf. Jacob Yebale was the make-up artist of the well known and loved singer Jenni Rivera. Jacob Yebale was born in Acapulco, Mexico and moved to the USA to pursue his dream career as a make-up artist. Jacob Yebale had worked with Jessica Alba, Christina Aguilera, Bret Michaels, Rihanna, Pitbull, Eva Longoria, among other Hollywood Stars. Jacob Yebale was about to open a chain of beauty salons and his own cosmetic line. He was a loving son and brother. He took care of his family who are still living in Mexico. Ms. Kelly stated that Jacob Yebale died right as his career was taken off. He was a close friend of Arturo Rivera, Jorge Sanchez and Jenni Rivera.
