Today's court filing is to obtain detailed information from the manufacturer of the plane. "This is the initial pre-discovery face of the case which will help identify the responsible parties", stated Ms. Kelly. The petition for discovery filed today requests that the court orders the defendants to provide documents pertaining to the ownership, leasing, design, manufacturing and maintenance records of the accident LearJet 25.
