Molten To Unveil At Cannes First Delivery-As-A-Service Solution For Film, TV Content
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) With the addition of its DaaS, we can now package and securely deliver hundreds of films to streaming partners around the world in mere minutes." - Indie Rights CEO Linda Nelson

MOLTEN, a cloud infrastructure platform that streamlines digital media rights, content, and financial operations, today announced that it will unveil the first Delivery-as-a-Service (DaaS) solution for film and TV content during the Cannes Next conference. This announcement will coincide with a keynote by Arjun Mendhi, CEO, entitled "The Cloud Revolution: Growing Your Content Business in a Virtual World," during the Marché du Film festival on June 25th at 14:00 hrs CET/8:00 am EDT.

MOLTEN's new DaaS solution now enables film and TV production, distribution, streaming and services companies to deliver and receive terabytes of content via the cloud — achieving significantly faster creation and transport of content packages at a fraction of the cost of most file transport services, without compromising security. Being an integrated cloud infrastructure, MOLTEN's DaaS offering is seamlessly connected with its core rights and content management applications, which further eliminates days of work involved in preparing content for every delivery. Users can now create and send packages of content with appropriate metadata in just minutes.

"As content gets larger, it has become extremely expensive and time consuming to securely transport large media files. For example, uploading and transporting a typical film package of about 10 terabytes over broadband internet can take over 100 days," explained Mendhi. "We developed this service to optimize five key parameters that are essential to address this bottleneck in the operations value chain — security, speed, cost, convenience, and customization. This new solution in MOLTEN Cloud gives our partners unprecedented ability to move massive amounts of video and other digital content quickly, safely and inexpensively, and reinforces MOLTEN's ability to modernize the value chain underpinning the $141B digital media publishing industry."

"The advances MOLTEN has made in the development of its platform have enabled us to scale to previously unseen levels, indicating the value they continue to provide as a partner in our business," explained Indie Rights CEO Linda Nelson. "MOLTEN's first platform iteration enabled us to reduce our turnaround time for avails from days to seconds. With the addition of its DaaS, we can now package and securely deliver hundreds of films to streaming partners around the world in mere minutes."

Built by a team from MIT, MOLTEN was founded in 2018 by Arjun Mendhi, an entrepreneur, engineer and artist.
