New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Cry on Messiah, the hard-rock, original-music band from the central
Maine region, are proud to announce the video for their first single, Alone, which will be released on YouTube.com at 4:00 PM, June 13th, 2019. The single will be the first from the band's forthcoming full-length album, scheduled for release in Summer 2020.
The band, which was formed in the Summer of 2018, features Chris Skehan on lead guitar and vocals, Joe Stedman-Hoffman on lead vocals and guitar, Nick Laplante on bass and vocals, and Mike Beauchesne, on drums and vocals. The band's music has been compared to high-energy acts like Alterbridge, Shinedown, and Alice In Chains, but with their own stamp on the genre.
"We formed Cry on Messiah as an outlet to create our own take to the hard rock music scene, while appealing to a wide demographic spectrum" said guitarist, Chris Skehan. "Our goal is to bring that music to everyone we can through a mix of high-energy shows, riffy, guitar-driven music, and by playing at every venue we can."
The band, which has spent most of their time together writing music and recording it in a studio setting, plans to release a new single every two months throughout the rest of 2019, starting with the release of the video for Alone, which was filmed May 30, 2019 at Acoustified Production in Auburn.
Cry on Messiah can currently be seen performing live throughout central and southern Maine, including at the following upcoming events:
